Chat Moderation

As a chat moderator you have access to various tools to keep control over the chat and provide an engaging experience.

STEP 1: LOCATE YOUR SHOW

Click on Shows in the main menu and make sure to locate your show. Click on it to enter the show details and then select the Moderator view or click on the three dots next to the show and select Moderator view

Once you have launched the moderator view you will join the event and will see the host, too.

STEP 2: MESSAGING

At the bottom of your screen you will a text box. Click into it and start typing and send your message

STEP 3: PIN MESSAGE

At the bottom of your screen you will a text box. Click into it and start typing. Click the pin icon and then send your message

STEP 4: SENDING LINKS (HYPERLINK MESSAGE)

You can just paste links which will be clickable. In case your links are long you can hyperlink by double clicking the word and selecting the link icon from the mini-menu that pops up.

STEP 5: REMOVE MESSAGES & PIN / BLOCK /

Click on the three dots next to any message to open a sub menu

Remove will remove a single message,

Remove all messages will remove all messages from this user and

Block will shadow ban the user and remove all messages as well. The viewer is still capable of enjoying the show and shop or chat.

Remove pin will remove the pinned message for all viewers

STEP 6: SUSPEND CHAT

ADMINS have the option to suspend the chat temporarily. Navigate to the show and click on the emergency button. Select Supend Chat.

Re-activating the chat, just follow the same steps.

STEP 7: DIRECT REPLY

You can directly reply to a message from a viewer by clicking on the arrow next to the viewers message. You will open a little text box where you can type and send your message.

Viewers will see your direct reply if their chat is expanded.
